Time to get dressed
Aug. 10th, 2013 08:49 amI seem to have avoided PMDD this month. I'm wondering if the reason it completely blew up the last three times or so is that I was so stressed about hating my job, being a failure, selling the house, etc. Whereas now I've kind of gotten used to the job (though I still want to leave) (Deb leaving has made a phenomenal change in my mood), and since Dad's been away and incommunicado for about a week there's no house upkeep pressure or any other kind of pressure. This is good.

IT WAS HER. SHE DID IT. *hiss*
I am ridic excited to go out a bit before sunset tonight to take pictures of the local cemetery. Can't believe I never thought to do it before, with my love of gravestone photography. (Seriously, next to extant dresses, that's the most frequent subject that turns up in my archives. After that is sky.) Greenwich's graveyard is pretty large, and mostly historic - sadly, they only go back to the 1830s/40s because prior to that people were using smaller plots on their farms etc., I think. There are wide, unpaved, and somewhat neglected tree-lined avenues, rolling hills, and of course crumbling monuments to human mortality and the way the people of the future will forget our existence. Sad is happy for deep people.
Just found Dad's birthday present, yes.

I'm glad some stuff is going better for you and that you no longer have to deal with Deb.

Date: 2013-08-10 09:52 pm (UTC)Thanks! It's amazing how much better work is without her. No more constant talking to herself, no more constant complaints about dealing with her mother-in-law, no more constant complaints about EVERYTHING, no more idiotic questions about whether she should or shouldn't do things that I can't answer ...
