So today is no-longer-insured day. I can get on Melissa's plan again as long as I pay the premium, though, until I'm 29 - three more years! My dental insurance cards still have not come so I'm just going to cancel that, I don't know if it's Nationwide or eHealthInsurance that is the screwup, but either way it doesn't seem to be happening.

I'm not too fussed over it, because despite accidents happening when you least expect them I'm just not too worried about needing a doctor. But I think I'm legally required to be covered or something ... ? I don't pay enough attention.

My shift/lining linen came, and it is lovely and smooth and light. Slightly more tightly woven than the 3.5oz on Fabrics-store.com, too. I haven't washed it yet, though, because I'm waiting for my cotton to come so I can do them together.

My stays are basically all done bar the binding. I've had to take off the straps and move them closer together, though, because the Diderot stays are definitely meant to lace closed. They are definitely meant to not have someone put front lacing grommets in them, too - maybe I'm just a bit too squishy in the stomach, I don't know, but I need something much stiffer there. Next time, next time.

I'm still reading The Courtiers, which means that Lucy Wortley's doing something right. Yay! She thinks fan language was a real thing, though, boo. And her description of court dress is off by about twenty years. But those bits are largely irrelevant so it's okay
