Well, I start on Monday, which means I'm moving down to East Greenbush this weekend ... and can enjoy a good three weeks of living there before I can move into the place I'm housesitting. Blargh, I don't feel like packing up the rest of my clothes to bring down with me tomorrow. Or my toiletries, or my food, etc. etc.
Avoiding working on that by watching Robin Hood. I'd forgotten how cracktastically funny it was. I mean, I remembered the orange hoodie but I forgot a lot of other stuff.
I'm starting to think this crinoline is unfortunately doomed. The wired-tubing method works if you make a channeled skirt, but they're just not stiff enough to stand on their own with tapes. SIGH. I love wasting money and time, it's brilliant! Ah well, Next week, once I've done some work and earned some money I'll order that kit. No, actually, I might order one of Kay's finished cages, because I'm so done with this and her prices are so reasonable. Embarrassingly enough, the shorter "teen" version is closer to the right length than the ordinary one - just below the knee, compared to the ankle. Thoughts?
