The worst thing about being unemployed is that I'll be going to sleep and suddenly I'm thinking about death and oblivion, and I'm hyperventilating and my heart feels like it's going to strangle me, and if really like to just go to sleep but I can't because I'm too freaked out

It really really does. I've started calling it my "death feels" recently, but I've been having them since I was probably about 8 or so. Suppose it's a panic attack.
