I have some problems with the general plotline of the finale - I don't like changing the pasts of established characters; it works in Back to the Future because we don't really know the parents as adults and because it results in such better circumstances for the family - but overall, it really shows what the show should be doing. It is so much better when it sticks to a single storyline and focuses on something other than achieving the Macguffin to defeat the latest Big Bad. Which would mean focusing on the aspects of the setting, but for whatever reason, whenever there's a point in the plot where there could be a setting-based issue for the plot, it gets resolved ridiculously quickly. Like Emma and Henry forgetting and having totally imagined past lives together.

Not sure how I feel about Elsa coming in - "intrigued" will have to do. The main Disney-owned characters they've had have been largely fairy-tale based, with just some influence and jokes (eg. Snow with the red bow in her hair trying to kill a bluebird with a broom) coming from the movies; less important characters have been taken directly from Disney. Elsa's 100% Disney, and IMO is being presented as a villain with her entrance, while her movie storyline is obviously very sympathetic: is she going to be, like Zelena, a misguided villain with a sympathetic backstory, but unlike Zelena, quickly defeated and given help and understanding?

And most importantly, who will she be related to? And will Anna turn up eventually as well? Wait, maybe she could be Belle's long-lost half-sister, and then Belle could get more screentime!

I had been thinking about Aiden earlier in the episode - I figured he'd have to die because he and Emily were too together too early in the show's run and I'm pretty sure Emily/Nolan is going to be endgame (I'm biased, though). And I find him uninteresting. So I was a little bit relieved when he was poisoned.

Could not believe that ending, though! Conrad dead, Victoria committed, David alive! It's interesting how Daniel's gone from being the nice, sensitive boy I felt sorry for in Emily's plans to just as much of a Greyson as his parents, and now they're out of the picture I expect he's going to get even more so.
