I fulfilled my promises, I did what I intended. Today started with me going to have blood drawn before breakfast - when I went to the doctor ages ago (in August) she gave me a lab order just because you should have lipids etc. checked sometimes, and I finally did something with that. Then I came home and shipped off a book I sold on Etsy - to a repeat customer, no less. After that I WROTE EMAILS and have continued to write emails because I'm trying to do research for someone and neither of us know where the documents we want are or, really, what documents specifically we're trying to find.

This morning it was -11F outside. Seriously, what the hell. It's supposed to be better tomorrow, but ... why was it like this in the first place? Someone is not doing a very good job.

Oh, cannot believe I forgot - I spent an awful lot of time compiling and arranging a book list for my AskHistorians profile. It's not exactly comprehensive in a general sense, but it's books that I've personally used/looked at and found useful. I should add a section on museum collections. (With some of my Christmas money, I bought myself a used copy of The Corset: A Cultural History because it hasn't been up as a preview on GBooks in forever, and I really enjoy it just as a good read. Plus I refer to it far too often based on memory.)

And just now I finished watching The Great Doctor, which was a k-drama with a fantastic premise and meh execution after the first few episodes, which were like "slapstick! obvious hate->love romance! sweet, slow romance as B plot! so much fun!" before the whole thing got bogged down in really excessive and unnecessary political drama. Dramabeans's review (at the end of the recap) says it all for me: This drama is such an interesting case of having solid parts… but put together all wrong.
