Seriously I can't keep my eyes open

chocolatepotI've been hand-sewing on my bustle because I'm honestly just too tired to get out the sewing machine. And I'm also tired of how it seems like whenever I get out the machine and it doesn't go back into the case between tasks it's such a big deal; overall I'm tired of having to keep everything of mine confined in my room and the corners of the house. Every once in a while it's like BIG SWEEP of my stuff from downstairs and then I lose track of thing - like my rulers, I need my rulers, my one function is patterning and I can't do it without my rulers!!
Right now I'm mainly sleepy tired because I couldn't fall asleep last night until Mom turned off her light (there's a door between our rooms), and then I woke up early because when she sits up in bed, Riley can hear it downstairs and starts crying. And I'm going to be sleepy tired a lot this week because I've got more hours and have two episodes of working until 8 and then coming in at 7/8 in the morning the next day. Not cool. But tomorrow I'm off and I'm going to sew sew sew - the darts in the bottom of the crinolette, and then I'm going to put together the straps. (I never got an order confirmation from Richard the Thread, but do you think it's gone through and they're shipping it?)
I can't figure out what to write about for February. The theme is "blue" - the options seem to me to be either writing about woad or indigo, doing a portrait costume analysis involving a blue dress (if only I hadn't done the Princess de Broglie ages ago! the most famous blue portrait ... or maybe there's the one of Marie Antoinette with the rose?), or talking about a specific extant blue garment. The first one is honestly not that interesting to me, and the other two seem too short in comparison to my last one. Although now that it's occurred to me, Marie Antoinette à la Rose seems like a decent choice.
