Jan. 23rd, 2015 09:12 pmClosing manager today was this woman who normally doesn't do that (but is obsessed with perfection in the bakery), so I was unprepared for her to come in and say that basically everything was wrong - not so much what I'd done, but some of the things that are standard practice for us. But she did some things for me because I was running behind, so that's good.
So I still feel horribly sleep deprived, like I'm pulling all-nighters every night, but I've found out: my thyroid is slightly underperforming. It also explains why my fingers and toes are going numb much faster than they should (thank goodness, I Was worried it was Reynaud's and that would be terrible). I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to have a followup visit to get something prescribed to deal with this, but tbh I find the fatigue a LOT easier to deal with knowing that it's medical and not something I'm causing myself by sleeping too lightly. OTOH I'm quite tired of being really tired all the time.
I'm watching King of the Nerds, and ... I think I should be on this show, while this guy's nerdy enough to call himself an otaku, I'm nerdy enough to know why you actually shouldn't call yourself an otaku.
