Feb. 21st, 2015 08:31 pmDone done done done done done done done done. Ahhhh. Never to go back to Hannaford, with a hat and apron on anyway. Actually, I'm a little annoyed that there isn't a Hannaford anywhere remotely near Canton - the nearest one is two hours away, so my only choice is Price Chopper, and the only good thing about Price Chopper is that they cook decent bagels fresh, I think from dough (Hannaford bagels have a gross chemical taste). The prices are always high because they subsidize this program where you can get money off on gas, so I guess it works out if you get the fuel card. But overall I just don't think it's as good of a supermarket. That said, they're rebranding all over the place to be fancier, so who knows.
I need to find out which towns in Quebec near the border have interesting tourist things. I mean Montreal isn't too far away, but ... Although where I really want to go, especially what with going to Chincoteague this summer, is PEI. But that's quite far.
Dad took me to a church fish fry last night - neither of us burst into flames upon walking through the door - and brought me my breadmaker, my kettle, and an iron as they had two. I hadn't thought about an iron before; now I need an ironing board.
