Apr. 23rd, 2015 07:54 pmDoes anyone want a letter from my early 19th century alter ego, Clarissa Van Rensselaer? I have all this stationery and my ink and pen. (Sent my letter off to Sabine today.) Setting all comments to screen - leave your address if you'd like one!
I've been so tired - in part because I keep waking up at night from being too warm and from the train going past, but I realized while shivering really dramatically at work that it's probably my thyroid again. Not that I dress very sensibly at work ... my apartment tends to be so warm that I end up dressing a little too thinly.
I have no idea what to write about for Practicality. I could interpret it reeeeally loosely, and finish my Regency gown and write it up, because that's practical as opposed to theoretical, but I worry that Leimomi will judge me for twisting the challenge. I guess I feel a little inspiration for talking about morning dress and how that can range from wrapping gowns to visiting dress? I don't know.
Tomorrow we're setting up for the antique show all afternoon and evening. (I wonder if we're being fed?) Going to wear jeans and sneakers because it's going to be a lot of lifting and carrying and I can't deal with also being chilly in a skirt and tights. And then Saturday is work at the show from about 7 to 7. Can't wait.
