fdskljfds Enough sewing for tonight. I put the zipper in and it's clear that I need to shorten the bodice at center front and back (although it seems okay at the sides, for whatever reason). This is a decent cotton but it's probably too heavy for the style - instead of just falling down into a kind of bloused effect it folds up under my boobs, not a really flattering look. It needs a good pressing, but I'm waiting until after I put the sleeves in to do that again and check how it's lying. If it can't be fixed I'm going to be very annoyed, but at least I could take the top off and turn it into a skirt. (UGH that will mean taking the zipper out and putting a new one in. I have to make this work as-is.)
