chocolatepot1) Wasn't there a second Regency FB group just a few weeks ago? Called Regency Costuming or something like that? It seems to have disappeared. Anybody know anything?
2) If you were to start a group forRegency the early 19th century that was like The Hive or The Civilian Civil War Closet, with an emphasis on accuracy and improvement and detail, what would you call it? Hmmm.
It just occurred to me while wishing that such a thing existed that I could start it. Although I wouldn't want to step on any toes by implying that the GRJANetc. group is generally bad ... But perhaps by phrasing it as being about reenacting specifically, and including music, food, activities etc. that fit into the period, that would distinguish it enough to make it seem less oppositional.
