Since Mother Eve in the Garden long ago

This probably could all go in my profile - you know, where you describe yourself and whatnot - but whatevs.

I'm graduating university in two weeks, and will be studying Fashion and Textile History next year, although I can't shake the feeling that I should be going into property law instead of trying to work in a museum, a museum, what am I thinking?? Anyway, as you may guess, I have interests in fashion and social histories, and fiction that focuses on either and both - I'll read just about anything, but I'll read extra happily if the book is about someone middle or working class who doesn't save the world but does something more close to home, and where period issues are dealt with without using a modern lens. Because I'm boring that way. (Also, books where women who like clothing aren't portrayed as empty-headed. Cause srsly.) My historical periods of interest are essentially everything from 1500 on, really.

I also write; my dream is to combine a career in museum whatsit while publishing books regularly. Lol. To date I have finished one (1) novel during NaNoWriMo. So we'll see how that goes.

This is the same name I use on LJ, but I'm doing a social experiment thing where I'm not tracking down every person on my flist. I want to see what will organically happen here - if I'll end up with roughly the same group, or if I'll have something else. (That said, I'll probably be subscribing to anyone who subscribes to me.)
